Waiting For Things In A Time When... (2021-22)

I began Waiting For Things In A Time When You Wait For Things in May 2021 after a positive pregnancy test. It is a predominantly self-portraiture project where I documented the pregnancy of my second child, while also being a mother. The series came to an end in February 2022 after I gave birth to my daughter L.

I tried to be as honest as possible about my experience of being a mother and being pregnant, as well as what was happening in my life at the time. The images are accompanied by diaristic text in the form of hashtags.

Within the project I continued the sub-series that are featured within Oh Me, Oh Mãe - ____ Family Portrait, Imitating B ____, Portrait Of A Mother Of A ___ Month Old.
