I stayed fairly close to Liverpool last night for a work training thing. I thought about taking my camera but then realised that I would be arriving so late and leaving early in the morning that I wouldn't have much time to take pictures and then my bag would just be more heavy. After travelling on the tube twice at rush hour I am glad with my decision. I haven't missed that feeling of being crammed on a tube and then feeling sweat dripping... I did try to take some phone pictures this morning though. Breakfast was supposed to be at 8.45 but I was 10 minutes late because I was messing taking pictures in my room.
My work colleague and I were the only guests besides a couple. I was hoping we would have missed them at breakfast but they were there and only 2 tables were set up so we were sat quite close to them and I was facing them. I had some melon and a couple of pieces were bad, one in particular was so bad that I wanted to spit it out but I was wary of the guy sat on the other table possibly seeing me. I took a photo of me with it in my mouth (I look tired and a hair is going across one of my eyes, which happens a lot) and after 30 seconds or so I got annoyed so just took it out. Then 2 seconds later he got up to get some bread and I scolded myself for not waiting, though how would I know. Also my work colleague was sat opposite me but I didn't care so much about him seeing.
I've got a bit scared of posting this stuff on social media in case people think it's really bad. True the pictures aren't amazing (or even good), the text is boring... My boyfriend just walked in and said he liked the image on the left, which I do too. I nearly took the one on the right off but it has more of a story to it. I'm just going to post it. What is the worst that can happen?
(I also feel like I need to say that apart from some bits of off melon, the B&B was super nice and I wish I could have had more time to enjoy it. I did love having a TV above the bath...)
